The Hilton Washington is located just 0.8 miles away from Marriott Wardman Park and Omni hotels on Connecticut Avenue--by taxi, the fare is $7. Getting Here & Around:

With its ideal East Coast location and extensive air and rail service, it's easy to get to Washington, DC. And, thanks to a quick, safe and efficient Metrorail subway system, friendly tour guides and broad, welcoming streets, it's also easy to navigate the nation's capital once you're there.

Visitors can fly into one of Washington, DC's three airports (Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) Reagan National Airport (DCA) or Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI)); arrive by train into magnificent Union Station from other East Coast hubs; or navigate the region's network of major highways for a speedy arrival and easy conveyance downtown. 


Once in town, hop aboard a site-seeing trolley, travel across town on Metro or on the DC Circulator or take a half day cruise down the scenic Potomac River to experience the cityscape from a different angle.


Taxi service is plentiful and economical in Washington, DC. Taxis operate on a zone, rather than meter, system, and by law all rates must be posted in each cab. Rates are usually $1.50 for each additional passenger. Cabs for Maryland and Virginia can take passengers from DC to locations in their respective states but not to different locations within the city.
